Q: Why does ICE Supreme sometimes have a grainy or icy texture?
A: Most folks taste buds are 'geared' towards ice cream. Obviously, nuts naturally produce a grainy texture in the mouth...it's nutty smooth!
Plus, ICE Supreme contains raw ingredients and NO preservatives to stop ice crystals from naturally forming. Most frozen dessert manufactures use artificial stabilizers, i.e., locust bean gum, guar gum, carrageenan, and xanthan to stop this natural freezing process. This is what makes other products 'buttery' smooth.
We recommend you let ICE Supreme get ‘spoon soft’ before eating. Enjoy!
A: The main costs are the nuts. We ONLY use ‘real food’ ingredients, i.e., vanilla bean, not vanilla specks or extract…Himalayan salt (more expensive)…’real chocolate’, cacao nibs. Where a typical pint of other products has air whipped into it and can weigh as little as eight ounces. A pint of ICE Supreme weighs a full pound!
A: ICE Supreme is made using only low glycemic fruit sweeteners, primarily Agave Nectar. Also, we do ‘customer choice’ orders…tell us your preferred ingredients, i.e., palm sugar, dates, maple syrup, etc. and we’ll make it! ICE Supreme is a great alternative for people on low glycemic diets, including most diabetics. Almonds are approved by the American Diabetes Association and helps lowers your blood sugar
Money is a terrible thing to waste! We encourage you to truly 'put your money where your mouth is'.
A: We guarantee 12 months shelf-life, however some customers have reported enjoying it long after that! See expiration date (mo./day/yr.) on container bottom . Since ICE Supreme is made primarily with raw nuts, the freezer life could be up to 2 years!
A: ICE Supreme is available at select metro Atlanta health food stores, including MW & SE region Whole Foods Market.
We ship using dry ice (FedEx) to most U.S. cities.
